All our processes, procedures, and work equipment are designed to minimize our impact on the environment. This care, combined with a consistent focus on the needs of our customers, ensures our above-average service quality.

Ecology is our top priority. We protect the environment as much as possible by using state-of-the-art, energy-efficient machines and consistently utilizing the waste heat generated. Short transport routes and optimally coordinated delivery routes are a matter of course.

• Chlorine-free washing
  We only use environmentally friendly detergents without any chemical additives (no chlorine). This protects your laundry, extends its life, and keeps it looking beautiful for longer. Thanks to an automatic dosing system, only the amount of detergent that is absolutely necessary is used.
• Low temperatures
  Our low-temperature washing process (40 degrees) is specially designed for hotel laundries and offers significant advantages: your laundry lasts longer. The lower the temperature, the gentler it is on the fabric. Another positive effect is that the colors of the textiles are better preserved and your laundry stays white longer..
• Heat recovery
  Washing (water), drying (tumble dryer), and ironing (mangle) require a lot of heat. However, only part of this heat is used in the process. The residual heat is retained by our heat recovery system and fed back into the system.
• Alkali recovery
  The rinse water from the last rinse cycle is collected in a separate tank and often used for pre-rinsing the next wash cycle.
• Logistics
  Our pick-up and delivery service is designed to minimize travel distances. Our vehicle complies with Euro emission standards and is, of course, equipped with a particulate filter.
• Heat
  A laundry requires a significant amount of thermal energy. We obtain this exclusively as a by-product of wood chip heating, which is located in the same building and operated by the Weggis Corporation.

• A win for the environment and quality
• Wood is a renewable energy source and, unlike oil, coal, and gas, is therefore a renewable energy carrier.
• The wood chip heating system in Weggis strengthens the local value chain. Forest management creates jobs. And wood energy is independent of imports.
• When burned, wood releases the same amount of CO2 that a tree absorbs from the atmosphere during its growth. This means that burning wood does not contribute to the greenhouse effect and is CO2-neutral. The natural, closed energy cycle remains intact when wood energy is used.
• A healthy forest needs care. The processing of logs produces waste wood. In addition to valuable timber, wood of inferior quality is also produced. This is put to good use as energy wood. Whether wood rots in the forest or is burned makes no difference in terms of CO2 emissions.
